Oppida raises the bar in online education

Deloitte’s EdTech Market Census shines a spotlight on Oppida

Impact of COVID-19 on the EdTech sector

As much as Oppida wishes the opposite were true, the effects of COVID-19 are still very much relevant and ongoing across the globe. Countries and states all over the world, including in Australia right at this moment in time, are in different stages of lockdowns and restrictions still. Deloitte’s recently published report, ‘Impact of COVID-19 on the EdTech sector: Deloitte's EdTech Market Census update’ is therefore very much pertinent to the current state of affairs. Today’s EdTech Market looks remarkably different in the wake of the events of 2020 and Deloitte, as ever, has its finger on the pulse to share its findings with the education sector.

In partnership with EduGrowth, Deloitte reached out to a number of EdTech organisations to discuss the impact of the global pandemic. Oppida is honored to have been included on the estimable panel of interviewed companies as a case study provider.

Deloitte’s EdTech Market Census

As part of the report, Oppida shared its insights into how our team has innovated and responded in the circumstances—highlighting one of our most significant partnerships to date as the solution provider for ANZSOG: The Australia and New Zealand School of Government. ANZSOG is a global leader in education and government-focused research with a focus on providing training programs for the public sector.

As Deloitte’s report showcased, Oppida has been the core solution provider for ANZSOG in the major digital transformation of its leading Executive Master of Public Administration (EMPA) degree for the past two years now. Oppida was able to help ANZSOG successfully pivot all 9 EMPA subjects to a blended learning mix of asynchronous and synchronous design. Bianca also shares her key learning insights about the future of EdTech and why being humble and authentic in these times is hugely important. In Bianca’s own words, she “believes it really helps if EdTechs are in this for something bigger than personal gain, as the reward for doing so is authenticity that will always reflect positively with education providers.”
