Online learning is a myth—this is what smart educators are building instead

A little while back, I did an interview for Kintell – a platform for sharing knowledge over video – where I talked about what’s important when it comes to [creating quality digital learning experiences](https://www.oppida.co/blogs/building-quality-and-sustainable-courses-in-digital-learning-environment/). My main point was that online learning is great at facilitating is [blended learning](https://blog.oppida.co/oppida-aitd-2026-excellence-awards-blended-learning-neca), and that’s the direction we need to keep going in. We need to drop the ‘online’ from ‘online education’ and embrace the shift towards [decentralised, digital-led learning](https://blog.oppida.co/web-3.0-in-education).
